The Lapacho or Sacred Tree of Inca, grows between Mexico and Argentina. Its wood is valuable because it has recognized medicinal properties. It contains potassium, calcium, iron and iodine but no caffeine and contains a powerful natural antibiotic: the lapachon. So it is a natural tonic and an immune stimulant, it is often used to treat skin and fungal diseases. The tea Lapacho has a woody taste with a touch of vanilla and slightly bitter aftertaste, it looks a bit like that Rooibos, which makes it comfortable to use and can be sweetened with honey.
